Andy Warhol / Supernova: Stars, Deaths, and Disasters, 1962–1964, an exhibition organized by the Walker Art Center, brought together more than 25 examples of the artist's early silkscreen work. The exhibit juxtaposed Warhol’s reproductions media imagery depicting car crashes, electric chairs, and other disturbing imagery with his more iconic paintings of celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, and Elvis Presley. While working as senior designer at the Museum of Contemporary Art, I created a branded experience that evoked Warhol's fascination with fame and disaster.

To create the custom typeface featured in the campaign, I stepped away from the computer and experimented with a hands-on method of manipulating type.
